Step by step

1. Select the revision Snapshot Owner

   Snapshot Owner confirms the production date, owner, linked facts and current revision.

   • Fixes the source and fact scope
   • Updates Production snapshots, Machine run facts

2. Invoke validation Production Analyst

   Production Analyst starts validation from the Production Snapshots Workspace for that revision.

   • Records the keyed attempt
   • Updates Operation runs

3. Check the operation Production Analyst

   Production Analyst inspects the operation key, run status and numbered steps. A retry with the same key is deduplicated.

   • Shows outcome and numbered work
   • Updates Operation runs, Operation steps

4. Read the transition Production Analyst

   Production Analyst checks state history for the source status change and actor.

   • Explains status movement
   • Updates State history, Production snapshots

5. Route for review Independent Reviewer

   Independent Reviewer handles the recorded decision when validation calls for approval.

   • Places a revision before a person
   • Updates Review decisions, People
   ApprovalA person approves before the work moves on.

Snapshot Owner

Prepares the source; Production Analyst invokes and inspects validation; Independent Reviewer makes the decision when required.
