How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Manufacturing CRM for your business. Pilot a customer opportunity with a verifiable drawing request, an accountable Relationship Owner and an independent Sales Manager. Rehearse qualification, changed scope and a customer outcome before expanding the team.

What does the customer record contain?

Keep the company name, stable company code and main contact together with the address, eligibility note and owning organization. App Administrator maintains this context. Agree who verifies changed contact details and whether the company remains active before preparing another opportunity.

How are drawing changes handled?

Each engineering inquiry retains the drawing reference and submitted revision with the material requirement. Freeze that scope for review. A changed drawing needs current review coverage; an earlier decision cannot authorize a different revision merely because it belongs to the same opportunity.

Who makes the independent decision?

An eligible Sales Manager reviews the submitted revision through an authorized action. The preparer cannot approve their own work. Configure decision execution explicitly: a visible queue alone does not grant permission to write a decision.

When is an engineering inquiry complete?

Approved records the review outcome. Completed requires evidence of the real external effect agreed during setup. A timeout or missing acknowledgment remains unresolved until its actual result can be verified.

How do we connect commercial documents?

Configure a quoting or ERP connection when that system owns the commercial document. Retain its current reviewed reference and supporting evidence with the opportunity. The Sales Manager can then check which document supports the submitted scope before making the decision.

What supports a won or lost opportunity?

Relationship Owner submits verified acceptance or loss evidence for independent review of the exact revision. Won requires win date and Lost requires loss reason. Earlier customer activity and expected USD sales value remain available; the estimate does not become recognized revenue.

What happens when the customer withdraws scope?

The correction action distinguishes unexecuted scope from executed effects. It retains the reason and earlier records. Executed scope needs independently reviewed compensation, with the receipt Pending until downstream confirmation establishes the result.

How do we connect mail and calendar?

Configure the provider connection with matching, private-content rules and duplicate handling. Agree how an imported conversation is associated with the customer opportunity, then rehearse a repeated provider event and a private thread before enabling the connection.

What does it cost?

Use the pricing page for the platform’s manual-use and machine-work policy. Estimate imports, agent requests and connected actions for the pilot; implementation and migration are priced separately under that policy.
