Session preparation

Make session capacity and operating state clear before accepting requests.

Step by step

  1. Define the session Property Manager

Property Manager records a recognizable name, type and capacity. Staff should be able to distinguish an assessment session from an ordinary class when choosing a booking target.

    • Records name, type and capacity
    • Updates Sessions
  2. Check operating state Property Manager

Property Manager reviews whether the session is Available, In Use, Cleaning or Maintenance. A request should be directed to a session ready for the intended time.

    • Reviews availability for use
    • Updates Sessions
  3. Compare demand Property Manager

Property Manager reviews dated booking requests and their place counts together. A single session status cannot show how much capacity is already promised in a particular interval.

    • Compares places and dated intervals
    • Updates Sessions, Bookings
  4. Release the choice Property Manager

Once the session details and existing reservations are understood, Property Manager can use it for the next booking decision.

    • Gives booking staff a checked session choice
    • Updates Sessions, Bookings
