Payment and release

A meal order has separate financial, fraud and fulfillment states. Finance Manager reads the payment evidence against the order before warehouse work moves forward. Warehouse Operator then works the actual saleable variants and records the delivery event that occurred. The order remains the common reference for both teams.

Step by step

  1. Payment review Finance Manager

Finance Manager examines payment evidence, any fraud review state and the amount paid. An authorization and a captured payment are different events, so the team follows the order's current financial state.

    • Explains the current financial and risk position
    • Updates Meal orders, Payment evidence, Operation receipts
  2. Fulfillment Warehouse Operator

Warehouse Operator checks stock by variant and the shippable meal lines, then records the relevant label, pick, pack, transit or delivery event. Partial work remains visible in fulfillment status.

    • Connects stock and physical delivery steps
    • Updates Inventory, Meal lines, Meal orders, Fulfillment events
  3. Delivery follow-up Customer Service Rep

Customer Service Rep checks the carrier and event history before answering a customer who asks where the box is.
