Who it's for

Community lending teams

A community lending team may know a borrower well before a formal request is submitted. The borrower record gives staff a shared eligibility position, while the application keeps the particular amount, owner and review decision separate. That distinction helps a returning borrower make a fresh request without losing the history of an earlier one.

How Micro-finance System is set up for you

Borrower review

The Credit Officer checks the borrower code, organization, active position and eligibility note before opening a request.

Independent decision

The Independent Credit Approver records the reason and application revision behind the outcome.

Collection evidence

The Collector prepares a run against the parent application; a reviewer sees its amount and supporting evidence before deciding.

A community lending team may know a borrower well before a formal request is submitted. The borrower record gives staff a shared eligibility position, while the application keeps the particular amount, owner and review decision separate. That distinction helps a returning borrower make a fresh request without losing the history of an earlier one.

Start with one operating organization and a small set of current borrowers. Choose a representative application with a revision and attachment, then rehearse approval and rejection. Add a collection run whose amount changes during review to test whether the reviewer sees the new basis. Follow the provider instruction and confirmed event through to the account record. Keep the borrower contact and eligibility note current as work continues, but preserve the earlier decisions in their own records.

The team should agree where provider acknowledgements arrive and which event establishes completion. A collection run approved locally can remain open while the external response is pending. Use the collection status and operation receipt to make that position visible to staff. Rehearse an exception where a provider event repeats or the reported amount differs, then inspect the original evidence before deciding what to correct.

Features to start with

Roles on the team

Independent Credit Approver
Review eligible application revisions independently and reconcile operational evidence. Approve or reject through guarded actions only; no unrestricted editing of protected or executed records; a reviewer cannot approve their own submission.
Credit Officer
Prepare assigned operational records and execute eligible reviewed actions. Own organization and draft scope only; accepted, posted and provider evidence is read-only; guarded workflows authorize every transition.
Auditor
Read authorized evidence and reports in a scoped, read-only audit view. No record writes and no action execution.
App Administrator
Maintain organization configuration and membership. Administrative membership does not confer approval, financial or execution authority and cannot grant an independent reviewer entitlement.
Collector
Prepares group collection runs and supplies collection evidence for independent review.
