Who it's for

Loan servicing teams

A servicing team needs to know which provider event belongs to which account and application. Repayments carry a provider event identity, received date, amount and state. Loan accounts hold the external account identity and borrower, while dated provider positions record ledger and available amounts. Together they give the Credit Officer a practical path for investigating a difference.

How Micro-finance System is set up for you

Event identity

Review the provider event and account together before associating a repayment with an application.

Dated position

Compare a repayment with the provider snapshot for the relevant date and account.

Review trail

Keep the original application decision and operation receipt available when a correction is investigated.

Begin with an approved application, its borrower account and a small set of repayment events. Include one event that clearly belongs to the account and one with a differing amount or date. The officer should leave the latter unmatched or mark an exception while checking the provider evidence. The Auditor can then inspect the event identity and the reason for the position.

Add a dated provider snapshot and compare the account position with confirmed movements. Agree how corrected provider events arrive and how the team distinguishes them from duplicates. A receipt with an open or review-needed result should be checked against its actual effect references before anyone treats it as completed. Keep the earlier event and decision visible when a corrected association is made.
