Evidence reconciliation

Evidence reconciliation explains an account position from actual provider events and recorded lending movements. The Credit Officer investigates unmatched repayments and operation receipts; the Auditor can inspect the trail without changing it. A familiar amount alone is insufficient to match a provider event.

Step by step

  1. Reconcile repayment evidence Credit Officer

The Credit Officer compares the repayment's amount and received date with the linked account and application, then examines the provider position.

    • Checks event against account and dated position
    • Updates Repayments, Repayment schedules, Loan accounts, Loan applications
  2. Inspect operation effect Credit Officer

The officer compares an open receipt's claimed effect references with the actual decision, application or account records.

    • Checks claimed effect against retained records
    • Updates Operation receipts, Review decisions, Loan applications
  3. Resolve exception Credit Officer

The officer records the discrepancy for review and keeps the original provider event and earlier decision available.

    • Preserves evidence and investigation state
    • Updates Repayments, Operation receipts, Application evidence
