Reports for the questions your team asks

Every report here is a view on the records that carry the transactions. A figure on the balance sheet drills to the account, the account to the journal line, and the line to the foreign amount and the rate that converted it. Select the entity, period and approved consolidation context when reviewing a report. Retained postings and applied rates provide the evidence needed to reproduce a closed result.

Statements

Trial Balance Grouped

Every account per entity per period with opening, movement and closing in functional currency, and a reporting-currency column tied to the selected translation context. The anchor for everything else.

Balance Sheet Grouped

Per entity and consolidated, comparative to prior period and prior year, in functional or reporting currency, with the fixed-asset roll-forward as a supporting schedule.

Income Statement Grouped

Per entity and consolidated, month, quarter-to-date and year-to-date, with realised and unrealised exchange differences on their own lines so the FX effect is never buried in other income.

Cash Flow Statement Grouped

Indirect method, with the effect of rate changes on cash held in foreign currencies shown as its own reconciling line.

Consolidation Worksheet Grouped

Each account with one column per entity in reporting currency, an eliminations column, a non-controlling interest column and the consolidated figure, for a calculated or locked run. The Controller’s review screen and the auditor’s walk from entity to group.

Exposure and exchange

FX Gain and Loss Summary List

Realised differences from settlements and transfers and unrealised differences from revaluation, per entity, currency and period, each traceable to the application, transfer or revaluation line. Read by the treasurer for exposure and by the auditor for the FX line on the income statement.

Foreign Currency Exposure List

The net open position per entity per foreign currency: receivables, bank balances and intercompany receivables less payables, loans and intercompany payables, at booked functional value and at today’s rate. What the Treasury Analyst hedges and what the pay run is positioned against.

AR Aging List

Open invoices by days past due, customer and entity, in transaction currency for collections and functional currency for exposure.

AP Aging List

Open bills by days past due, vendor, entity and currency; grouped by currency it is the forecast of foreign cash needed for the coming pay runs.

Intercompany Reconciliation List

Every entity pair and currency for the period with each side’s balance, the difference and the agreement status, drillable to the transactions behind it. Unresolved differences remain visible for review before the consolidation is completed.

Management

Budget vs Actual Grouped

Per account and cost centre, in entity currency or translated at the budget rate for the group view, so a rate movement does not show up as a variance.
