Nail and spa studio
A client may book a nail service and add a spa treatment during the same visit. The treatment records can distinguish those service types while both point to the appointment. This gives the Front Desk Agent a practical service list and gives the Finance Officer the visit context needed to review charges.
How Nail Studio Management is set up for you
Shared reservation
Keep every treatment booking tied to the correct appointment rather than creating unrelated visit records.
Rate context
Maintain service type, effective dates and rate in the service rate list, and review the appointment's service rate when pricing changes.
Charge state
Check Draft treatment and service charges before posting; keep Voided amounts visible as corrections.
Receipt state
Read Pending, Confirmed and Refunded payments separately when reconciling the visit account.
A client may book a nail service and add a spa treatment during the same visit. The treatment records can distinguish those service types while both point to the appointment. This gives the Front Desk Agent a practical service list and gives the Finance Officer the visit context needed to review charges.
Enter the services the team actually offers in the rate list with their effective dates. Agree naming conventions for treatment bookings so a nail service and a spa treatment are easy to distinguish. Start with one confirmed appointment and add both kinds of treatment to it. The desk should be able to open the appointment from either booking and see the same client and station.
Have the Finance Officer prepare a service charge and a treatment charge. Check the amounts, service dates or charge times and the linked appointment before posting. Then add a payment with a reference and review its status independently. If it remains Pending, the final account review should still show an unresolved receipt or acknowledged outstanding balance.
This rehearsal also reveals access decisions. The Front Desk Agent manages treatment bookings, while the Finance Officer manages charges and payments. The Operations Reviewer views those records for the final outcome decision. The studio can settle these handoffs before a busy day makes them harder to correct.
