Plan and release production

Step by step

1. Check the operating basis Production Planner or Admin

   Production Planner checks the product, customer order and resource. Admin confirms that the acting account maps to the intended person. Resolve a resource marked Maintenance or Unavailable before expecting a release to succeed.

2. Capture the window Production Planner

   Production Planner sets the named period, planned minutes and ideal cycle. The guarded capture validates the basis and returns the same saved result when the request is repeated unchanged.

   • Save the validated window basis

3. Prepare the work order Production Planner

   Production Planner checks planned quantity and dates against the customer demand and resource. Confirm that the order is in an eligible state before executing release.

   • Check quantity, dates and linked order
   • Updates Work orders, Orders, Resources

4. Release the work Production Planner

   Production Planner runs the guarded release. Eligible Draft work moves to Released and the command freezes its release input. A changed request for the same work order conflicts with the original result.

   • Move eligible Draft work to Released once
   • Updates Work orders

5. Hand over the run Production Operator

   Production Operator identifies the released work order and the production window to use for capture. Discuss the resource and interval together before the operator starts entering evidence.

   • Identify the run and evidence boundary
   • Updates Work orders, Planned production windows
