Who it's for

Direct device sellers

A direct device seller handles customer orders with individual products, quantities and prices. The order owner needs one record that follows the request from Draft through review, allocation and shipping. A device serial or warranty question may arise later, so the service team needs the sold order and its line history available alongside a warranty check.

How Consumer Electronics OMS is set up for you

Customer context

Keep the buyer's contact and address on the customer account while each order records its owner, channel and requested date.

Device detail

Link product SKU and device category to each priced order line. Keep accessories on separate lines so partial progress remains visible.

Fulfillment evidence

Allocation and shipping events show the quantity and event state against the order. Run receipts preserve the result of each action.

Service review

A warranty check brings serial and activation context together with a revision-linked decision and rationale.

A direct device seller handles customer orders with individual products, quantities and prices. The order owner needs one record that follows the request from Draft through review, allocation and shipping. A device serial or warranty question may arise later, so the service team needs the sold order and its line history available alongside a warranty check.

Start with one operating organization, an active customer list and the products most often ordered together. Prepare a device and accessory case with separate line quantities. Confirm the order, have Order Reviewer record the decision, allocate the lines and release the device shipment. Compare the resulting Shipped events with the fulfilled lines and the order's revised status.

Then rehearse a warranty case for the device. Service Coordinator should find the original order, inspect the line and shipping event, record the check detail and route the case for review. Run the same eligibility check twice on the same revision to confirm that the decision remains singular. Reconciliation should show either a Verified receipt when payment and execution evidence agree or a Failed receipt with a linked exception when they do not.
