Electronics service teams
A service team often receives a claim after the original order has shipped. The customer may report an expired coverage period, a serial mismatch, missing activation or accidental damage. The service coordinator needs the original order, product lines and fulfillment events alongside the warranty check. The reviewer needs enough evidence to record a reasoned outcome against the current order revision.
How Consumer Electronics OMS is set up for you
Issue category
The warranty check records a defined exception type and detailed case notes, including serial and activation context when available.
Order lineage
Parent order and line references show which product and quantity the customer purchased.
Decision trail
Approved or Returned outcomes appear in a review decision with revision, rationale and decision date.
Operation result
The return eligibility run leaves a receipt even when it does not approve the case.

The service coordinator needs the original order, product lines and fulfillment events alongside the warranty check. The reviewer needs enough evidence to record a reasoned outcome against the current order revision.
Begin with one shipped device order and one service coordinator. Create a warranty check for a serial mismatch, recording the actual serial, issue detail and related order. Review the order line and its Shipped event, then have Order Reviewer start the eligibility review and inspect its recorded outcome and rationale. Inspect the operation receipt. Repeating the review for that same order revision should keep the existing decision rather than creating a duplicate.
Rehearse a second case with supported coverage and a different outcome. Operations Manager should compare the order, check, decision and receipt from one place. If the customer asks to cancel a shipped order, run the authorized correction request and inspect its escalation decision and compensating receipt while retaining the original fulfillment evidence. The team can then explain the case history without confusing an eligibility review with a physical return or payment refund.
