How a OMS for Grocery and Supermarkets rollout works

Start with one store cycle, then widen coverage after review and fulfillment are rehearsed.

  1. Set up the store

Enter the location, associates, users, active SK us and shopper records. Agree who owns order capture, review and exception follow-up.

  2. Rehearse capture

Build a real basket with a substitution choice and separate delivery recipient. Confirm it and inspect the total, revision and receipt.

  3. Rehearse decisions

Review the current revision with a clean case and an exception case. Check the decision and rationale.

  4. Rehearse fulfillment

Release an approved order, inspect its line events and receipt, then record the actual delivery event and any handoff.

  5. Run an operating cycle

Compare the open order book, review queue and exception queue with the store's work before adding more locations.

What the customer provides

Provide store names and codes, associate assignments, SKU codes and prices, shopper delivery details, the chosen order channels and the team’s review policy. Identify the inventory, payment and delivery systems whose facts must be checked or connected. Bring examples of a substitution, a late delivery and a completed order correction.

Changing it afterwards

When a store changes its assortment or review practice, test a current order and its existing evidence before adopting the new rule. Preserve earlier decisions, receipts and events. Expand to another store only after its local owners can explain how an order moves through review and fulfillment.
