Who it's for

Multi-store supermarkets

A supermarket group needs to know which store owns an order, SKU, shopper and handoff. The store reference on those records gives operations a way to review the local book without mixing work from different locations. Store associates carry their store assignment and user link, so the group can decide who captures, reviews and fulfills orders at each site.

A supermarket group needs to know which store owns an order, SKU, shopper and handoff. The store reference on those records gives operations a way to review the local book without mixing work from different locations. Store associates carry their store assignment and user link, so the group can decide who captures, reviews and fulfills orders at each site.

Select two stores with different SKU ranges and a few associates at each. Capture one order per store and check that basket lines use the intended store assortment. Confirm both orders and send them to the review queue. Have a reviewer examine a shortage exception at one store and return that order for correction. Approve and release the other order, then record the handoff and delivery event.

The group should agree which store manager can assign exceptions, which associates may record delivery events and how a central service team finds the correct store record. The Store Operations Overview can support the authorized scope's order book and open exception queue. Payment and inventory systems remain connections to plan with the actual store technology. Keep tender references and documents on the order so questions can be traced to the right site.
