Keys and references

Customer orders is the central transaction. Each order lines row references its order and product catalog item. Customer orders references its Organization, Owner, Customer and Counterparty. Order review decisions references the order and Reviewer, while order processing receipts uses source order. Fulfillment events, payment evidence, order attachments, order exceptions and channel handoffs each reference the order. Keep these references intact during import so a decision or event never becomes detached from its source.

Migration order

  1. Load Organizations, Users and team members, then verify owner and reviewer identities.
  2. Load Customers and product catalog with stable codes, SK us and organization references.
  3. Load customer orders and order lines with their original dates, amounts, statuses and revisions.
  4. Load linked channel handoffs, order attachments, order review decisions, fulfillment events, payment evidence, order processing receipts and order exceptions.
  5. Reconcile imported orders with their lines and evidence before beginning new operations.
