How a Organic Certification Tracker rollout works

Set up a small certification cycle and test each handoff.

  1. Agree ownership

Name the Operations Manager, Quality Manager, Inspector, Action Owner and Input Reviewer.

  2. Prepare the scope register

Enter operator, field code, location, area and status, then attach boundary surveys.

  3. Run one audit

Plan an audit, record a check and inspection result, and assign a corrective action.

  4. Review input evidence

Set up a registered lot, record a scope review and link applied use to the action where relevant.

  5. Reconcile the case

Check the source records, access and reports before broadening use.

What the customer provides

Provide current scope records, boundary survey files, audit schedules, inspection records, staff identities and registered input lots. Assign a person who can decide how inconsistent historical values should be corrected. Bring one real case for the first rehearsal.

Changing it afterwards

Change a source record under its owner’s review, then inspect dependent views and reports. Recheck role access when responsibilities change. Keep old audit and inspection context understandable when a scope or parcel is updated.
