Who it's for

Organic farms

Keep field scopes, parcel surveys and seasonal audits connected. An operations manager starts with the scope register, then follows each parcel into its survey, audit and corrective work. The same record can support a local review and a later conversation with the certifier because the dates, operator and responsible people remain visible.

How Organic Certification Tracker is set up for you

Scope owner

Keep the operator name, field code, location, certified area and current status current on the scope.

Survey reviewer

Open the linked boundary and check its survey date, geometry and measured area before using it in the case.

Quality lead

Plan the audit against a named standard and review the inspection result with related checks.

Action owner

Take responsibility for approved corrective work and record completion against its due date.

Keep field scopes, parcel surveys and seasonal audits connected. An operations manager starts with the scope register, then follows each parcel into its survey, audit and corrective work. The same record can support a local review and a later conversation with the certifier because the dates, operator and responsible people remain visible.

Start with one operation and a small set of representative parcels. Import their certification scopes and the most recent boundary surveys, then open a planned audit for one scope. Ask an Inspector to capture a check and an audit-linked inspection result. The Quality Manager can assign a corrective action, approve the planned work and review the owner's recorded completion. If a registered input is involved, compare its lot, unit and expiry with the input review and applied-use record.

This rehearsal tests the handoffs that matter in daily work. A manager should be able to trace a completed action back to the audit and scope, while the operations team can inspect the boundary separately from the certified area. Agree who corrects a source record if the survey, scope or audit dates disagree. The formal certification decision remains with the certifier and its own records.
