What you can do

Keep the working record clear

Certified Parcel Boundaries is the parcel survey screen. Operations Manager can filter by certification scope and survey date, inspect captured geometry and surveyed hectares, and open the exact boundary record. The measured area belongs to that survey; the certified area belongs to the linked scope. Keeping both values visible makes an amended survey easier to review.

A new survey arrives for a scope whose certified hectares are already recorded. Operations Manager finds the scope on Certified Parcel Boundaries, selects the survey date and opens the source boundary. The geometry and surveyed area are checked against the supplied survey. Quality Manager then uses the linked scope when planning the related audit.

How the work is organized

  • Find the survey. Filter the parcel boundary screen by scope and survey date, then open its source record.
  • Check the shape. Review the stored geometry alongside the measured hectares and the survey source.
  • Compare the scope. Read surveyed hectares beside certified hectares without overwriting either value.

What to agree during setup

Agree who provides survey geometry, who checks it and how a corrected survey is recorded. Decide whether a later survey creates another boundary record or replaces an incorrect entry after review. Match the boundary to the right certification scope before relying on its area. A survey date identifies when that geometry was measured; it does not change the scope certification status by itself. Keep the original survey evidence available to the person reviewing the record.

Check the handoff on an actual case

Choose a parcel with a recent survey and a linked audit. Ask Operations Manager to filter the boundary screen by that scope and survey date. Open the source boundary and check its geometry and surveyed hectares against the survey supplied by the team. Open the certification scope and compare its field code, operator and certified hectares. If the areas differ, record which source needs review and ask the responsible person to correct that source. Finally, open the audit and confirm that it points to the same scope. The audit should remain understandable even when a newer survey is added later.

The parcel screen also shows daily Recorded entries from the published feature page. Use them to locate recent boundary activity, then open the source boundary before relying on a survey date or measured area. A screen entry does not replace the geometry and scope reference stored on the boundary record.

What your team sees

  • Parcel Survey Register — Review dated boundary records and their measured area.
  • Active Certification Scopes — Check the operator and certified area on the linked scope.
