How a OTA Channel Manager rollout works
Pilot an arrival, stay, account and room turnaround.
Prepare people and units
Set user access, staff links, booking parties, units and dated rate plans.
Pilot reservation intake
Capture a Requested stay and confirm it after capacity and interval review.
Run a guest stay
Check in, record outlet bookings and assign service work.
Review the account
Prepare folio charges, verify payments and check out after the final decision.
Turn the room
Complete cleaning, inspect the unit and return it to Available.
What the customer provides
Bring a representative guest journey, current unit list, rate plan dates, staff responsibilities and the source used to confirm payments. Choose a pilot property and the people who can make each decision. Include a case with an overlap or unresolved receipt so the team can rehearse an exception.
Changing it afterwards
Review the impact of a new unit type, charge practice or service handoff against existing reservations. Keep changed dates, statuses and amounts traceable to the person who made the change. Repeat the pilot checks before extending the setup to more staff or units.
