Create your account

Click Get started to create the workspace for Patient Portal. Name a Clinical Coordinator to own the first patient and encounter records, and identify the clinicians and reviewer who will take part in the pilot.

Prepare the first operating cycle

Bring a sample patient identity, a visit type, a purpose-specific consent, staff records and a scheduled encounter. Agree who signs the clinical note, who reviews it and who records the follow-up task. If the visit includes a specimen, dispensation or charge, bring the details needed to record each one accurately.

Review before release

Run the sample visit from schedule through clinical review. Check its patient, clinician, observations, signed note and any follow-up task. Review role access, privilege evidence and consent dates. Compare charges and payment references with the clinic’s source records. Expand to additional teams once the people responsible for each handoff can explain the record they will maintain.

Set up Patient Portal your way.

Start free, then use Proto to change fields, steps and approvals before your team goes live.
