Multi-instructor grooming studio
When several instructors work across a busy day, the studio needs to know who is assigned to each session and who recorded the visit. Sessions link an instructor to a service and time window. Attendance records the staff member responsible for check-in, and grooming capture validates the acting instructor through a People record linked to their user.
How Pet Grooming Management is set up for you
Assigned work
Show the service, instructor and start and end of each planned or open session on the calendar.
Capacity
Confirm member places under a session lock so simultaneous booking requests cannot promise the same final place.
Attribution
Use the responsible staff link on attendance and validated instructor identity on pet and grooming capture.
Handoff
Let the next instructor read pet handling notes and the prior coat observation before beginning a repeat visit.
When several instructors work across a busy day, the studio needs to know who is assigned to each session and who recorded the visit. Sessions link an instructor to a service and time window. Attendance records the staff member responsible for check-in, and grooming capture validates the acting instructor through a People record linked to their user.
Set up staff People records with their linked users, then create sessions for more than one instructor. Open the calendar and check that each session shows the right person, service and window. Have a coordinator confirm bookings near capacity, including two competing requests for the final place. One should succeed and the other should receive a clear rejection without changing the first booking.
Have one instructor check in a confirmed booking and record grooming work for the member's pet. Re-submit the same work to test that the original record is returned. Try the operation from an instructor account without a linked People record and verify it does not create unattributed evidence. Review the completed session and any no-show outcome at the end of the day.
