Session planning

Turn a grooming service into an instructor-led time with clear capacity.

Step by step

  1. Set service terms Studio Manager

Studio Manager records the grooming service name, duration, capacity, price and active state. These terms give the Booking Coordinator a service to offer.

    • Define service, duration, capacity and price
    • Updates Services
  2. Assign the session Studio Manager

Studio Manager selects the service, instructor, start and end, and session capacity. Status: Planned → Open makes the scheduled time available for booking.

    • Set instructor and scheduled window
    • Updates Sessions, Services, People
  3. Review availability Booking Coordinator

Booking Coordinator uses the calendar and open-session list to compare time, instructor and capacity with a member's request.

    • Check open time and existing reservations
    • Updates Sessions, Bookings
  4. Close the window Studio Manager

A session can reach Full when its places are committed, Completed after its bookings are terminal, or Cancelled when the studio withdraws the time.

    • Keep terminal sessions out of new booking decisions
    • Updates Sessions, Bookings
