How do I get started?

Click Get started, then use Proto to configure Pet Insurance Platform for your business. Begin with one carrier, a few policyholders, a reviewed policy and a claim rehearsal.

Who prepares a policy?

The Insurance Coordinator enters the policyholder, premium, effective date and coverage lines on the selected carrier policy.

Who makes the policy decision?

The Authorized Underwriter reviews the current revision independently and records a decision with a reason.

How is a later coverage change handled?

Keep the earlier coverage revision and add an endorsement with its effective date, reason and carrier receipt. Review the changed scope.

Where does a veterinary claim begin?

The coordinator selects the parent policy and records the pet reference, vet invoice, claimed amount and submission time.

How is a loss assessed?

Use the loss date and the coverage effective then, including any exclusion, limit and deductible. Keep the insurer’s decision and reason on the claim.

Does an approved claim mean payment was made?

Check the linked claim payment, provider event and verification result to establish the paid amount.

How do teams investigate an issue action?

Open the policy’s operation receipt and check its operation key, expected revision, result state and external reference.

Where can an auditor follow a case?

The policy links to its coverage, review decisions, claims, receipts and attachments. Claim decisions link onward to payments.
