Editorial studios
An editorial studio can organize image assignments as projects with dated production tasks and individual content items. The Content Items Status Board shows which deliverables are in Draft, Editing, Review, Approved or Published. The Content Review Queue shows items in editing or review, while Rights Coverage Watch shows agreements ending today or earlier.
How Photo Studio Management is set up for you
Assignment clarity
Give every project and deliverable a person who can answer the next review question.
Rights check
Compare the intended use with the agreement's allowed uses and current coverage dates.
Publication timing
Record the acknowledged internal delivery event when the Editorial Manager publishes the approved item.

Start with one active assignment and its editing tasks. Define how the team labels content types and file versions. Upload the first version, move the content item to Review and check the agreement before approval. Recheck the agreement on the day of publication. If the item is part of a larger project, leave the project in Review until the remaining content and tasks are accounted for. The Studio Manager can then compare published dates with project due dates and cost lines. Agree how finished images reach the destination publication; keep the internal delivery attestation tied to the actual event.
Review the content item's due date alongside the rights agreement end date when planning the publication calendar. If a planned release moves, the Editorial Manager can revisit coverage before acknowledging the final delivery event.
