Keys and references

Stock requests is the parent for pick waves, stock movements, review decisions and operation receipts. Stock reservations links a request to a stock lots record. A lot links stock items and storage locations. A posted movement can refer to the original movement it reverses. Keep the request, lot, movement and operation keys stable so a retry can find the earlier result.

Cartons link to stock items and the storage locations used as its pack station. Shipment stops links outbound shipments to a storage locations appointment. A completed pick wave leaves the load and stop records unchanged.

Migration order

  1. Load Organizations, Users and team members, then storage locations.
  2. Load stock items and stock lots with checked on-hand quantities.
  3. Load pick policies and stock requests with their source identifiers.
  4. Load stock reservations, pick waves and Cartons after their references resolve.
  5. Load stock movements, review decisions, operation receipts and record attachments with original dates and operation keys; load outbound shipments and shipment stops by their load identifiers.
  6. Reconcile held quantities, posted movements and receipt status before the next operating cycle.
