How a Pilgrimage / Religious Tourism rollout works
Pilot a group departure through service planning, dispatch and delivery review.
Map people and fleet
Set up users, staff and volunteer records, parties and vehicles. Check capacity units and who may verify trip files.
Prepare a group
Enter a representative leader, dates and participant count, then add dated accommodation, meal, transport or visit arrangements.
Rehearse dispatch
Create a requested journey, review vehicle and driver availability, approve it and order its stops. Include a conflicting assignment case.
Follow the route
Have Driver record actual departure, stop times and trip end on the pilot journey.
Close and review
Record recipient evidence, investigate a disputed case and review draft charge lines with Operations Manager.
What the customer provides
Bring an example group and its leader, a list of vehicles with capacity units, the people who drive and verify documents, representative service provider names, and a real route with planned stop times. Agree who decides a trip approval and who reviews authorized charges before invoicing. Define the billing handoff for a line marked invoiced.
Changing it afterwards
Review the group calendar and trip schedule after the pilot. If travel dates, participants or vehicle assignments change, have the owning role revisit linked services, documents and stops before the next departure. Preserve completed journey evidence while correcting the operating procedure for future trips.
