How the model is organised

Land and planting

Fields holds location, area and status; plantation blocks stores variety, planting year and tree count within a field.

Crop operations

Crop cycles links a crop to a field, while field tasks links scheduled work to a field, cycle and assigned person.

Inputs and evidence

Input stocks holds lots, input usage links lot applications to tasks, and field observations records dated measurements against fields.

Harvest

Harvest rounds belongs to a block and crew lead; Harvests belongs to a crop cycle and has an accepting person.

People

People connects operational assignments and decisions to Users.

Keys and references

A field is the parent of blocks, cycles, observations and tasks. A task also points to its crop cycle and assigned person. A block round points to its block and crew lead. A crop harvest points to its cycle and accepting person. An application points to a task and stock lot. Use these references when correcting an entry so its history stays with the right land, planting and staff member.

Migration order

  1. Import Users and People, then verify the staff links.
  2. Load Fields with their code, area, location and status.
  3. Add plantation blocks and current crop cycles against those fields.
  4. Load input stocks and open field tasks with the correct people and cycles.
  5. Add field observations, input usage, harvest rounds and Harvests after checking their parent references.
