Harvest crew operations
Harvest crews work at the edge of two related records. A block round identifies where the crew harvested, who led it, when it happened, the measured kilograms and the grade. A crop harvest identifies the wider cycle, quantity, unit, grade and accepting person. Keeping both references correct lets managers review block contribution and accepted crop output without confusing the two measures.
How Plantation Management is set up for you
Round capture
Field Operator checks the block and parent field before entering a date, measured weight and named Crew Lead.
Task handoff
Harvest field tasks show the assigned person and due date for planned and approved work.
Quantity review
Harvest Reviewer checks the crop harvest entry and records the accepting person.
Closure
Plantation Manager resolves remaining cycle tasks and records the actual harvest date before closing the cycle.

A crop harvest identifies the wider cycle, quantity, unit, grade and accepting person. Keeping both references correct lets managers review block contribution and accepted crop output without confusing the two measures.
Select one harvest day and one planted block. Confirm the crew lead has an active People record. Enter the round with a measured weight and grade, then inspect the block's total weight. Create the corresponding crop harvest only against the intended crop cycle and record its own quantity and unit. Ask the reviewer to compare the source figures and identify the accepting person. The team should decide in advance how grade labels and units are standardized.
If a field is Restricted, the round cannot be captured until the restriction is resolved. A future harvest date, missing grade or negative weight deserves correction. When the day's work is complete, compare the open field tasks with the harvest entries. This rehearsal establishes who owns each decision while preserving the difference between a crew's block round and a cycle's accepted harvest result.
