Mixed crop plantations
A mixed crop plantation can record separate crop cycles for the plantings managed on its fields. Each cycle carries crop name, variety, planting date, expected harvest, actual harvest and status. Field tasks point to both the field and cycle, giving supervisors a way to separate irrigation, feeding and harvest work when several crops are active in the same operating area.
How Plantation Management is set up for you
Cycle planning
Check crop and variety names before creating tasks so later harvest entries select the right planting.
Work review
Use planned, approved, in-progress and completed task statuses to see which care work remains.
Measurements
Record dated field observations with type, value, unit and notes for agronomy review.
Harvest comparison
Review crop harvest quantities by cycle and grade, with units kept consistent for yield discussion.
Pilot one field with a current crop cycle and several task types. Enter planting and expected harvest dates, assign an inspection task and capture an observation. Have the supervisor approve a planned task only after checking the field, cycle and assignee. Record an input application against one stock lot and verify that the usage points back to the same task.
At harvest, record the crop quantity and grade against the cycle. The reviewer checks the linked field and accepting person. The plantation manager then reviews unfinished tasks, actual harvest date, accepted quantity and yield per hectare. This narrow run makes it easier to find mismatched units or a task attached to the wrong cycle before adding more fields. Agree how the team handles a replanted area so an old cycle's result is not mixed with a new one.
