How Film Production PM is set up for you
Prep work
Put location preparation, equipment preparation and other concrete work in Tasks beneath the relevant package. Compare planned and actual hours before accepting the scope.
Shoot dates
Record each shoot days date, location, planned hours and call sheet revision. The submitted day gives the reviewer one current revision to examine.
Package review
Agree who reviews each package revision and whether review decisions will hold the reviewer and reason. Keep supporting attachments on the package with deliberate visibility.

Use Operations Overview to follow failed operations and overdue open tasks to their exact records.

Start with one Organizations record, a Projects record for the feature and a package for a single location shoot. Assign a team members owner and record a few tasks with due dates and planned hours. Prepare a shoot day, attach the evidence the reviewer expects and submit the current revision. After the reviewer decides, inspect the result in the package and the operations queue. This rehearsal shows whether project names, ownership and evidence conventions work before the team opens more packages.
