Who it's for

Independent design studios

A small studio may have the Studio Lead and Project Manager working closely, but a separate Reviewer still makes the design decision. Start with a living-room concept where the client contact, site address and package owner are clear. Keep the mood board revision and evidence under the same package as the task work.

How Interior Design PM is set up for you

Client context

Confirm the project code and address before a Designer adds room evidence. Similar room names across homes should not become the team’s lookup key.

Daily effort

Enter actual hours as each task finishes, then compare them with the planned hours in Operations Overview.

Room decision

Ask the independent Reviewer to decide the submitted revision and record why it was approved or rejected.

Exception follow-up

Use the queue to find overdue work by package owner and to inspect a failed receipt before retrying it.

A small studio may have the Studio Lead and Project Manager working closely, but a separate Reviewer still makes the design decision. Start with a living-room concept where the client contact, site address and package owner are clear. Keep the mood board revision and evidence under the same package as the task work.

Start with one active client project, a room package and the person who reviews its design. Compare planned and actual task hours at the next studio meeting. Rehearse a returned decision, a later revision and one overdue task before extending to more projects. Confirm that everyone sees the same parent package and that internal files stay within the intended audience.

Before adding another client project, ask the Studio Lead to read the approved room revision, its reason and the package owner from the record. That check shows whether the studio can answer a client question without reconstructing the decision from messages.
