Who it's for

Multidisciplinary interiors teams

A larger interiors team can divide a site into owned packages while keeping each decision connected to the same project. One package might cover a lobby concept and another a meeting room. The Project Manager checks that tasks, design evidence and room approvals point to the right package before handing work to an independent Reviewer.

How Interior Design PM is set up for you

Package ownership

Name an owner for each design package and use the project code when work crosses disciplines.

Shared effort

Keep task lines under their parent package so Operations Overview compares hours by project without losing ownership.

Design review

Submit each room revision with its supporting files; a decision on a different package or earlier revision cannot close it.

Change control

Replan future task lines when scope changes and leave completed work in the record for delivery review.

A larger interiors team can divide a site into owned packages while keeping each decision connected to the same project. One package might cover a lobby concept and another a meeting room. The Project Manager checks that tasks, design evidence and room approvals point to the right package before handing work to an independent Reviewer.

Choose a representative site with several packages. Agree who owns each package, who submits room revisions and who reviews the evidence. Rehearse a returned decision, a later revision and one overdue task before extending to more projects. Confirm that everyone sees the same parent package and that internal files stay within the intended audience.

Before moving to more sites, have a Designer from another discipline read the package record number, current revision and shared files. The Reviewer should be able to identify the same design version without relying on the first Designer to explain it.
