Create your account
Click Get started, then use Proto to configure PM for Research Projects for your business. Name the research organization, funded project and team members who will prepare work, coordinate it and decide on evidence. Confirm each person’s organization before assigning a package.
Prepare the first operating cycle
Choose one funded project and a bounded work package. Enter its owner, due date, budgeted hours and task lines. Check task dependencies and record actual effort as work progresses. Add evidence attachments with deliberate Internal or Shared visibility. Prepare a research milestone under the same package if the cycle has a grant checkpoint.
Review before release
Ask Research Coordinator to check task progress and the current package revision. Have Independent Reviewer assess the evidence and record a reasoned decision. Rehearse a returned case and a revised submission, then inspect the Operations Overview for the review backlog and operation exceptions. Agree how the team checks grant and external operation references with their authoritative sources.
