How a Research Projects PM rollout works

Start with a funded project, its package plan and one independent evidence decision.

  1. Organization and people

Create the active research organization, funded project and team members linked to platform users. Confirm time zones and ownership.

  2. Package plan

Enter a package with a record number, subject, due date, budgeted hours and responsible member. Add task lines and inspect dependencies.

  3. Evidence and review

Record task progress, attach evidence with deliberate visibility and have an independent reviewer decide on the current package revision.

  4. Grant milestone

Add a milestone under the package with its grant reference, due date, completed studies and approval reference. Rehearse submission and decision.

  5. Operations check

Open Operations Overview and investigate a review backlog item and an operation exception using the linked records.

What the customer provides

Bring the organization and funded project identities, the member list, package scope, task sequence and review policy. Decide how completed studies are counted and which external source is authoritative for grant or operation references. Name the people who will own packages, coordinate review and make independent decisions.

Changing it afterwards

When project scope changes, review the package revision and dependent tasks before treating the old plan as current. Preserve decisions against the revisions they assessed. Check attachments after a visibility change, and reconcile an exception through its receipt and linked effects before recording completion.
