Step by step

1. Capture platform evidence Producer

   Capture a platform receipt against the episode. Confirm it only when the external identifier and acknowledged publish time agree with provider evidence. The Editor then reviews confirmed receipts and approved linked content before recording publication.

   • Platform, external identifier and episode link are captured.

2. Confirm distribution Producer

   The Producer compares the receipt platform, external identifier and publish time with the provider acknowledgment. Only then does the pending receipt become Confirmed; a failed or repeated identity needs investigation.

   • Provider evidence supports a confirmed receipt.
   • Updates Distribution receipts, Episodes

3. Record publication Editor

   The Editor reviews the approved content item and the confirmed receipts for the episode. After that decision, publication is recorded on content and the episode; pending evidence cannot support it.

   • Approved content and confirmed receipts support the publication decision.
   • Updates Distribution receipts, Episodes, Content items
   ApprovalA person approves before the work moves on.
