Choose one assessment period and a small set of active controls linked to named risks. Record one policy version and audience. Agree the risk scale, evidence visibility rule, acknowledgment completion rule and reviewer authority. Use a passing and failing test so the team can rehearse both ordinary review and remediation.
Review before release
Have the Independent Assurance Reviewer decide on a submitted assessment revision and policy version. Follow the failed test through finding, corrective action and retest. Check that attachments and operation receipts point to the right assessment. Then verify the audience outcome through the agreed distribution channel before recording the acknowledgment date and completion status.
