What you can do
Review the current scope
A review decision records the reviewer, decision, reason, decision time and source revision for an event. The Event Reviewer uses it to make an independent choice on the current plan. A decision about an earlier revision cannot silently clear a later change to dates, capacity or venue. The Market Manager checks the current revision before opening the event.
An event attachment keeps evidence with the event. Each attachment has a title, evidence type, upload time, visibility and uploader. The team can distinguish Internal from Shared material without moving the file to an unrelated record. Operation receipts also keep an action, expected revision, result state and failure reason, so a guarded attempt that needs review is visible beside the event.
How the work is organized
- Decision. A reviewer records a reason against the event revision.
- Files. Attachments retain their uploader, type and visibility with the event.
- Exceptions. Receipts show which guarded action failed or needs review.
What to agree during setup
- Independence. Name who can decide without being the event owner.
- Revision. Check the event revision against the recorded decision.
- Visibility. Choose who can see Internal and Shared attachments.
Assign a reviewer who is separate from the event owner. Agree who may see Internal and Shared attachments, and who investigates failed receipts. A decision must be checked against the event’s current revision before opening.
Check the handoff on an actual case
The Market Manager sends a planned market into Review. Event Reviewer reads its venue note, dates, capacity and supporting file, then records Approve with a reason and source revision. If the manager changes capacity afterward, the earlier decision no longer covers the plan. The reviewer must assess the new revision before the event opens.
During rehearsal, have Evidence Coordinator add an attachment and choose its visibility. Then inspect a failed opening receipt and trace its operation key, expected revision and failure reason back to the event. The manager should know which decision applies and who owns the exception without relying on a separate message thread.
What your team sees
- Events In Review — Event plans awaiting a current decision.
- Receipts Needing Attention — Failed and review-needed attempts with their reason.
Follow the work through
Follow market planning through event review, then use vendor review and admission to close for the later handoffs. Implementation gives the team a pilot sequence.
