What you can do

Establish the place and operator

Organization records identify the market operator. Its code, time zone, currency and active flag are useful when a team runs several markets under different operating entities. Team members belong to that organization and link to platform users. Their active flag and role name give the administrator a place to manage the staff roster.

Venues carry a code, contact, address, eligibility note and active flag. The event points to one venue as its counterparty. Before scheduling a market, the Market Manager checks whether the site is active, reads the eligibility note and confirms the contact who can answer site questions. The venue record remains separate from the event so future dates can use the same site details.

How the work is organized

  • Operator. Organization records identify who owns the event and its staff.
  • Site. Venue records keep contact, address and eligibility details together.
  • Assignment. The event connects the operator, venue and named owner.

What to agree during setup

  • Operator. Choose the organization that owns the event and its team.
  • Venue identity. Agree codes and addresses before events link to sites.
  • Eligibility. Decide who maintains notes and the active flag.

Settle who maintains the venue’s eligibility note and who can mark a site active. A current contact and address matter before the Market Manager selects the venue. Check that the owner belongs to the event’s organization.

Check the handoff on an actual case

For a market moving to a second site, Admin records the new venue under the operator organization with its contact, address and eligibility note. The Market Manager checks that it is active before linking it to the planned event. Event Reviewer then sees the selected site while deciding on that event revision.

If the site changes after review, the manager updates the event revision and sends the revised plan back for a decision. The old venue remains a reusable site record; its details should not be copied into the new event. Ask the reviewer to find the venue contact from the event and identify which site the decision covered.

What your team sees

  • Active Venues — Active site records with contact, address and eligibility notes for planning.
  • Event Schedule — Scheduled markets shown with their selected venue.

Follow the work through

Follow market planning through event review, then use vendor review and admission to close for the later handoffs. Implementation gives the team a pilot sequence.
