Who it's for

Multi-organization logistics

Teams operating across several organizations need each load and container move to carry the right operating identity. An organization record has a code, active state, time zone and currency. Team members and transport partners are also related to organizations, so the owner and counterparty on a load can be checked in context. The Operations Overview presents authorized activity by lifecycle, organization and owner.

How Port & Terminal Management is set up for you

Scoped review

Teams operating across several organizations need each load and container move to carry the right operating identity. An organization record has a code, active state, time zone and currency. Team members and transport partners are also related to organizations, so the owner and counterparty on a load can be checked in context. The Operations Overview presents authorized activity by lifecycle, organization and owner.

Configure two organizations with distinct codes and time zones. Add the staff members who own and review their work, linking each to the correct user identity. Enter an active partner in each organization and prepare a sample load with its owner and counterparty. A container move should point to the same intended operating organization as its parent load.

Have a Dispatcher open authorized work by owner and verify the correct load and terminal move. Ask a Transport Supervisor to inspect the submitted revision and record a decision. Then use an Auditor account to follow the evidence without changing it. This rehearsal makes the access boundary concrete before more organizations are imported.

Agree how the team handles freight amounts stored on loads in USD alongside organization currency settings. Keep external currency conversion and settlement procedures explicit. A user account role by itself should not be treated as proof of independent approval authority; the decision belongs to the configured supervisor review procedure.
