Who it's for

Multi-site plant portfolio

An operations team responsible for several generating sites needs a clear location on every event, meter, maintenance task and rate period. Site names, locations and timezones help reviewers understand records entered by different shifts. The manager can use the same operating views across the portfolio while keeping each task attached to the plant where the work belongs.

How Power Plant Operations is set up for you

Site context

Use site status and timezone to interpret local events and dated observations.

Assigned work

Review due tasks by site and confirm that each one has an active person as assignee.

Operating review

Compare open and acknowledged events by site before deciding where the response team needs attention.

An operations team responsible for several generating sites needs a clear location on every event, meter, maintenance task and rate period. Site names, locations and timezones help reviewers understand records entered by different shifts. The manager can use the same operating views across the portfolio while keeping each task attached to the plant where the work belongs.

Start with distinct site identities and a small roster of active people. Associate each meter with its installed site, then record readings from known meters. Add operational events for the correct location and set the actual start time. When the manager creates a task, choose its site and assigned person deliberately. The assigned task view should show that person's name and site, while the manager sees the broader due queue.

The same unit fuel type at two plants does not make their output periods interchangeable. Each generation interval belongs to its generating unit, and that unit carries its operational context. Reports should retain those links when managers review changes across the portfolio. Rate periods also remain site-specific, so a review of an energy period uses the applicable site and date.
