Row crop farms
A row crop farm can use the field record as the common reference for each plot's boundary, crop cycle, observations and scheduled work. Farm Manager sees what is planned, which tasks are approved and which crops have reached harvest. The team retains earlier cycles on the same field rather than replacing last season's history with the current planting.
How Precision Agriculture Platform is set up for you
Field planning
Record the field name, code, location, area and availability status before starting a crop cycle.
Seasonal execution
Assign planting, irrigation, feeding, inspection and harvest tasks to named owners with due dates.
Measured output
Attach harvest quantity, unit and grade to the crop cycle reviewed by Harvest Reviewer.
Start with a small group of known fields whose names and codes the team already uses. Capture current boundaries and area, then add the crop cycles that are actually in progress. Agree when a manager moves a cycle from Planned to Planted and how operators record a completed task. Importing several years of history is easier after the team has rehearsed one current cycle from assignment to reviewed harvest.
Use one field as the pilot. Record a scouting observation, approve a task, and compare the task completion with the harvest record at the end of the cycle. Check that the crop variety and unit are visible in reports so yield comparisons are made within a meaningful group. If the farm uses imagery or equipment generated plans, define those as separate connections alongside the field and cycle records.
