Who it's for

Specialty growers

A specialty grower often needs to distinguish nearby plots and crop varieties with care. The field code, survey geometry and crop cycle keep those contexts separate. Operators can record dated observations by type and unit, while managers decide which inspection, irrigation or feeding work follows. Harvest records preserve grade with measured quantity.

How Precision Agriculture Platform is set up for you

Plot identity

Use the field name, code and survey date to locate the right growing area.

Scouting detail

Keep measured observations and notes on the field where they were made.

Harvest review

Review grade, quantity and unit against the intended crop cycle.

Choose one growing area with an active crop cycle and a known boundary. Confirm how the team names varieties and grades. Enter several observations of the same type in the unit operators use, then ask the manager to make a real task decision from that history. Give the task a field, cycle, owner and due date. The approval step should show the manager what will be done and where.

At harvest, enter a quantity and unit on the correct cycle, have a reviewer check it, and compare it with the completed harvest task. The two records answer different questions. The task documents execution; the harvest record documents output. This distinction helps the grower investigate a low grade or an unexpected quantity without replacing field notes with an estimate.

Use the same field and cycle references throughout the rehearsal. This lets the reviewer trace the graded harvest back to the growing work that preceded it.
