Who it's for

Client delivery teams

A client delivery team can connect each project to an organization, record its delivery method and budget, and name a project owner. Packages and tasks turn the commitment into assigned work. Milestones identify the dates the team will discuss with the client. Review decisions preserve the outcome when a delivery subject is approved, returned or rejected.

How Product Roadmap Tool is set up for you

Account context

Keep the organization and primary contact alongside the projects delivered for it.

Plan

Give each project a start and end date, then set package estimates and task assignments.

Effort

Have team members log work dates and hours against the project and relevant task.

Evidence

Attach the delivery file to the right record and record the reviewer's decision with a reference.

Choose one active engagement with a clear owner. Enter its organization, dates, budget and delivery method. Create packages for the parts of the work the team already manages, then add tasks with assignees, priorities, estimates and due dates. The Project Manager can compare task actual hours with estimates and bring an overrun to the Delivery Lead before the end date becomes unrealistic.

When a checkpoint approaches, use Pending Milestones to prepare a review. If an issue affects the work, record its severity and owner. If a possible vendor or schedule problem has not yet happened, record a risk and mitigation. The client conversation should use those records to explain both the current state and the next action. A Reviewer records the decision on the delivery subject; the team uses a Returned decision to identify work that must be revised.
