The tables behind Production Dashboard

Production Dashboard ships with 16 tables, grouped here by the feature that uses them. Every record your team works with lives in one of them, and you can add fields and tables in Proto.

How the model is organised

Target planning

Production targets, Resources and Items define the product, resource, target date, good-unit target and planned minutes.

Shift performance

Shift actuals points to production targets through Target and retains shift code, good units, scrap units, run minutes and recorded at.

Work order control

Work orders links Product, Order and Resource; Orders, order lines and Parties provide the approved demand context.

Resources and scheduling

Resources carries availability and daily capacity; work orders supplies planned start and planned end for release checks.

Materials and inventory

Material issues and inventory balances connect quantities with Items and lot context. Purchase orders and purchase lines provide supplier-order context through Parties.

Production evidence

Production logs links work order and Operator. People.User links the operator identity to Users for guarded actor resolution.

Batch quality

Batches links work order and lot disposition. The release action checks completed interval evidence and the required finished-goods balance.

Keys and references

The model contains 16 tables. Preserve Id where supplied and resolve references by stable record identity rather than Name. Users uses User as its required self-reference. Import Users and resolve self-references in a controlled pass, then connect People.User to the authenticated platform identity.

Shift actuals.Target points to production targets. Review targets and work orders through their shared resource and product context. Agree how the material posting action resolves the exact inventory balances record, including its Location and lot number, before live withdrawal.

Target and shift capture preserve attributed successor evidence on correction. Keep the saved evidence and verify effective-record selection before aggregating corrected targets or actuals. Rehearse the selection with the operating team so the earlier submission remains available for explanation.

Migration order

  1. Prepare Users identities and controlled self-references, then People and its User mapping.
  2. Load Parties, Items and Resources with their stable identifiers, units and reviewed availability.
  3. Load Orders and order lines, then purchase orders and purchase lines as demand and supply context.
  4. Reconcile inventory balances by Item, Location and lot number; load work orders with resolved Product, Order and Resource references.
  5. Load production targets before shift actuals and preserve the exact Target references and correction evidence.
  6. Migrate historical material issues, production logs and Batches only with their original evidence and resolved references. Do not replay live posting actions merely to copy history.
  7. Reconcile opening quantities and current comparisons, test actor resolution and rehearse guarded failures before admitting live work.
