Integrations

Decide which connected systems supply payment and accounting facts.

  • Property Management System
  • Payment provider
  • Accounting system
  • Document storage
  • Maintenance communication

Systems to connect

  • Payment provider. If tenants pay through another service, define how the collection reference and confirmed amount reach the receipt record.
  • Accounting system. If a general ledger is used, agree how posted charges, confirmed receipts, allocations and corrections are reconciled there.
  • Document storage. Decide where signed lease documents live and how staff identify the version reviewed for an agreement.
  • Maintenance communication. If tenant messages arrive elsewhere, agree how staff turn them into the right lease-linked issue or unit service request.

How connections are governed

Name the owner of each connection and test a normal event, a repeated event and a correction. The received payment reference should identify the same collection when it is checked again. Reverse the linked allocations before reversing a payment. For signed terms and inspection evidence, keep the source document associated with the right agreement or unit. Implementation covers the first operating cycle.
