How a Property Valuation System rollout works
Set up a small property scope and rehearse valuation and operating decisions.
Identify records
Choose a property, its units, parties and leases. Agree the unit naming and area convention.
Map decisions
Assign the lease, receipt and valuation review responsibilities to named people.
Load evidence
Enter a comparable sale with a source reference, then connect an adjustment to the unit and sale.
Rehearse operations
Walk a lease through review, inspect a posted charge, confirm a receipt and check the recorded allocation.
Review results
Check the adjusted value against sale price and adjustment amount, and check payment balances against allocations.
What the customer provides
Bring reliable unit identifiers, party and lease records, comparable sale sources, and a payment reference source. Identify a property manager, receipt officer, valuation coordinator and reviewer for the pilot. Agree who can correct an imported record and who can accept a revised adjustment.
Changing it afterwards
When a sale or unit reference changes, revisit the affected adjustment before sharing its result. When a lease or tenant reference changes, inspect connected charges, receipts and allocations. Preserve the source identifier and the reason for the correction so the next reviewer can follow the same path.
