Work package approval

A work package is a dated record of delivered activity. It identifies the worker, project, hours, charge rate, billable choice and description. Submission runs the approval check. The operation has explicit guards, so the team can see an outcome even when the package does not advance.

Step by step

  1. Describe the work Crew Member

Crew Member records the activity and the project it served. Use a description that another reviewer can match to field evidence.

    • Identify delivery
    • Updates Work packages, Projects, Crew and subcontractors
  2. Submit the package Site Lead

Site Lead checks the record and moves it from Draft to Submitted, which starts the approval workflow.

    • Draft to Submitted
    • Updates Work packages
  3. Check the guard Site Lead

The workflow verifies that the package is billable, has positive hours and belongs to a project. Work Reviewer checks the recorded result and follows up on failures.

    • Billable, hours and project validation
    • Updates Work packages
  4. Record the outcome Work Reviewer

An eligible package moves to Approved; the workflow records a review decision and a successful operation receipt. A failed guard leaves the package Submitted and records failure.

    • Approval or failed attempt
    • Updates Work packages, Review decisions, Operation receipts
  5. Resolve an exception Crew Member

Worker and reviewer correct the source package and inspect the next outcome before relying on it for commercial review.

    • Correct the subject and check result
    • Updates Work packages, Operation receipts
Crew Member
Prepares the entry, Site Lead submits it, Work Reviewer checks outcomes, and Project Manager checks exceptions.
