Keys and references

Use the client and agreement references on delivery records to keep work in the correct commercial context. A milestone references its agreement; a monthly billing record references its milestone. Engineers are referenced by delivery, time, expense, decision and receipt records. Record attachments identifies its parent by table name and record identifier, so both values must point to the intended subject.

Migration order

  1. Load Organizations and Engineers, then Clients with their account owners and owning service teams.
  2. Load managed service agreements with client, manager and organization references.
  3. Load recurring service entries, time entries and Expenses against the correct agreements.
  4. Load Milestones, then monthly billing with its milestone references.
  5. Bring in review decisions, operation receipts and record attachments with their subject links.
  6. Review Users and access after the record owners are in place.
