How a PSA for Software Implementation Partners rollout works

Start with one client engagement and rehearse delivery through collection.

  1. Map the account

Agree the client owner, billing terms and owning practice. Enter a real client and check its primary contact.

  2. Set the engagement

Record manager, engagement type, contract value, budget hours and delivery dates. Review the baseline before moving work from Proposed to Active.

  3. Enter delivery

Set consultant rates and capacity. Record time, expenses and a configuration deliverable against the engagement.

  4. Review exceptions

Submit a valid service line and one line missing a required input. Examine the resulting decisions and operation receipts.

  5. Run milestone billing

Approve a milestone with an amount and engagement, inspect the invoice result, then follow a billing through receipt.

  6. Review the outcome

Compare delivered, invoiced and cost amounts in the Implementation Margin Desk and open the source engagement.

What the customer provides

Provide active client and practice records, the named engagement manager, consultant rates and capacity, contract value, budget hours, delivery dates, milestone amounts and invoice identity rules. Choose the Service Reviewer and Billing Manager for the rehearsal. Bring one paid and one unpaid billing case to test collection follow-up. Agree where linked contracts and receipts will be stored.

Changing it afterwards

When an engagement scope or rate changes, review the affected delivery and billing records before editing the source. Keep the earlier operation receipt and review decision available. Recheck the engagement margin and milestone amount after the correction. Give the person responsible for the next handoff a clear explanation of the change.
