Vaccination programs
Attribute administered doses to the patient, provider, vaccine and lot while checking clinical authority. The team starts with a patient, an assigned clinician and the encounter or dose event that produced the record. From there, reviewers can follow a condition report to its operational encounter. The same team can see whether a consent, care-team assignment or professional privilege is current for the action under review.
How Public Health Surveillance is set up for you
Start with the source
Keep patient and clinician identities on the relevant care records, with dates that explain when the work happened.
Review the reporting path
A report carries its condition code, reporting facility, case count and denominator; the Clinical Reviewer can follow its status from Submitted through Closed.
Keep vaccination attribution
A dose record carries patient, provider, vaccine, lot and administration date for a later evidence check.
Resolve follow-up
Assigned care tasks make open and escalated work visible alongside the encounter context.
Choose one care team and one reporting facility for the first operating cycle. Enter the patient identities, named People accounts, signed consent records, effective care-team assignments and verified privileges needed for that cycle. Schedule an encounter, record an observation and signed note, then submit a condition report from that encounter. Have the reviewer follow the original references and state the reason for validation. Record one vaccination event where the patient and provider can both be checked. This small case gives the team a common way to discuss what a completed handoff looks like.
Agree the meaning of each condition code and denominator before using the reporting totals. Decide who reconciles information sent to an external notification or immunization system, if the program uses one. Keep that destination as a configured connection with its own owner. Features to start with
Roles on the team
- Clinical Governance Administrator
- Maintains verified professional privileges and care-team assignments. Administrative identity projection only; no clinical notes, observations, prescriptions or billing access.
- Licensed Clinician
- Captures assigned care operations work and evidence. Assigned care team only, subject to purpose-specific patient consent. Only a currently licensed authenticated clinician may sign clinical notes, orders or dispositions; draft data entry never overrides signed evidence.
- Clinical Reviewer
- Reviews evidence and authorizes eligible domain outcomes. Authorized clinical reviewer scoped to assigned care-team patients and current professional authority. Review and sign decisions are guarded actions; no raw editing of signed notes, outcomes, prescription authority or billing.
